Kelvingrove Museum has undergone a £ 30m refurbishment over the past 3 years. The Museum was built 105 years ago and is a very impressive feat of architecutre. Part of the refurbishment was the replacement of museum showcases, the new showcases are manufactured by Rothstein.

The £ 1.5m Showcase Project commenced in July 2004 and will be completed on June 2006. Total number of showcase manufactured were 305 including 7 large showcases that required to be assembled in the Museum Gallery, the largest being 2.8 wide x 6.0m lg x 3.2m high weighing 2 ton.
